Dr. Suzanne Sewell, DVM, CVC, CVA
Dr. Sewell graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with a BS in Animal Science. In 1988, she graduated from North Carolina State's College of Veterinary Medicine (where she is a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society). She has been a member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association for over 20 years, including serving on the Executive Board for over 6 years, and being president of the association from 2011-2012. She founded Crestview Veterinary Hospital in 1990 and built our current state of the art facility in 2005. She enjoys maintaining a high proficiency in education and pursues adjunct therapies to best help her patients. She obtained her AVCA certification in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2009. Currently, she is one of only 8 AVCA certified veterinarians in the state of NC. Integrating traditional veterinary medicine and holistic care including rehab, chiropractic, and acupuncture to obtain the highest quality of life is a guiding principle.
Dr. Sewell enjoys kayaking, gardening, and life on her farm with purebred Arabian and half-Arabian horses,and is avidly involved with her Sheltie "Finn", pursuing obedience and agility titles. Along with her beloved daughter, she shares her home with many other pets including other dogs, cats, fish, and a vocal guinea pig named Oreo.
